Michael Lippencott’s 45 year involvement with southern Colorado drag and oval track racing included accomplishments as a driver, track manager, and racing photographer and has led to his receiving a Colorado Motorsports Hall of Fame Jerry Van Dyke Award.
Roger “Cappy” Mason 2022
Roger “Cappy” Mason will receive a Jerry Van Dyke Award in recognition of a successful, 49 year career as a car owner in the Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association while competing at over fifty race tracks.
Dick Baty
Dick Baty enjoyed a long career in drag and oval track modified racing, with a class championship and track records from several regional tracks to his credit.
Don “Spyder” Anderson
Don “Spyder” Anderson enjoyed a successful career racing Midget race cars in Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association and USAC regional competition.
George Willett
George Willett’s career as crew Chief for top-tier drag racing teams resulted in multiple NHRA Championships and performance awards for drivers John Abbott. Alan Bockla, Art Ward, tommy Kaiser, and Bruce Jarrett.
Jack Graham
Jack Graham had a long oval track career racing in the Modified division, winning track championships at Lakeside Speedway in 1973, 1974, and 1975.
Jeff Winter
Jeff Winter’s road racing career is highlighted by 20 Regional and Divisional Sports Car Club of America Championships, as well as a SCCA GP National title.
Kent Moore
Kent Moore is the only car owner in Colorado racing history to win five consecutive track championships in the Figure-8 division.
